What if I can't be hypnotized?

If you can daydream or lose yourself in a movie, you have everything you need.

How does this differ from stage hypnosis?

Stage hypnosis is entertainment, based on social compliance and performance. Clinical hypnotherapy is an evidence-based therapeutic process built entirely on your prior consent. Nothing happens that you have not agreed to.

Is hypnotherapy scientifically supported?

Yes. Decades of clinical and experimental research demonstrate measurable effects of hypnosis on behaviour and brain activity. It is used in medical and psychological settings worldwide and remains an active area of investigation in neuroscience and psychology.

Can I do hypnotherapy if I am already in treatment or on medication?

What can I expect from the first session?

Our first session is about building trust and outlining a clear direction. We discuss your history and goals in detail, demystify the hypnotic process together, and if time allows, close with a gentle introductory relaxation before we dive into deeper work. Should I prepare anything?

No special preparation needed. Come as you are, in comfortable clothes, with a sense of what you would like to address or see change. We recommend arriving with enough time to avoid rushing and fully settle in.

Why come to the studio?

Human contact carries subtleties that video calls do not fully capture. The studio is a carefully curated space designed for comfort, creativity, and focused work, located within an Amsterdam broedplaats. During 1:1 sessions, the space is used privately.

Are sessions covered by insurance?

Sessions are not currently covered by Dutch health providers. The administrative transfer of foreign professional credentials to the Dutch complementary healthcare system is currently in progress.
